But on the other hand, Sitanushu’s younger sister named Chumki played by Sauraseni Mitra is madly in love with Satyakam. Moreover, he comes to know that not only Chumki but Pandey Ji’s daughter played by Bibriti Chatterjee who is cabaret dancer by profession is also in deep love with Satyakam.

Review of Byomkesh GotroThe film, in my opinion, is a fantastic example of how an interesting detective story can be converted into a lumbering tale of tremendous ennui. Visuals in some places are quite good. Rahul in the role of Ajit is a complete misfit. The character of Satyakaam has been overdone. The entire methodology of Byomkesh seemed a speculative exercise. Though Abir and Anjan Dutta tried their best, the acting in the role of other characters was below-average.
It seemed to be a waste of time and money to me. However, the vintage cars and beautiful scenery of Missouri are the only good things about this movie. I found the casting to be incredible. Such a well-paced storyline keeping the suspense alive and us sitting at the edge of our seats. It is a film worth every penny.
Adding equally to its glory is the brilliant music direction by the genius that is Mr. Bickram Ghosh. The background music reflects the knowledge base of a supreme classical musician. The songs are an auditory treat with super sound production by Shamik Guha Roy. Loved it and kudos to the team.
